Why choose a gunite pool over a vinyl-lined pool?

QUESTIONS TO ASK BEFORE YOUR GUNITE POOL BUILD

One distinctive characteristic of a gunite pool is the ability to design a pool that is any size and any shape you want it to be. You have very few limits in this design phase.

We recommend that you choose a shape that complements both your home's architecture

and your current landscaping. If this isn't possible, there are creative enhancements we can make to better integrate the design of the pool with the design of your home.

The features that we design into your pool all depend on your goals and lifestyle. Our design will be different depending on if you are into an aquatic exercise regime, the sight of beautiful waterfalls or a place to play water volleyball. We will walk you through decisions about lighting, entries into the pool, underwater benches and how deep you would like the deep end to be.

A great place to start is with a brainstorming list. Include everything and that you (and your spouse) might want or need. Here are a few things to consider:

• Outdoor kitchen
• Fire pit
• Outdoor shower
• Gazebo
• Poolhouse
• Waterfall

It's better to plan for certain items before we begin the pool build — even if you don't install them yet. Deciding to add these amenities later could lead to more construction and more money down the road. You don't want to pay twice for construction.

01 Consultation

We will meet you at your house and look at the site of the pool you would like to build. It doesn't matter where in Ohio or Kentucky you live. It's important to us to visit your home in person.

02 Design Phase

This is where your vision comes to life! Once we see what you want to build and where you want to build it, we draft up a complete 3D rendering of your yard and the pool you have envisioned. 

03 Build Phase

When the design is approved, we get to work! This can take 4-6 weeks or longer, depending on the size and scope of your gunite pool. It won't be long until you are enjoying your brand new pool!
